1. What we provide

Aged Care Compare provides general information and AI-assisted comparison tools to help families research residential aged care options. We are not a financial adviser, lawyer, health practitioner or aged care provider, and nothing on the site or in a report is financial, legal, medical or professional aged care advice.

2. The AI Aged Care Comparison Report

• Price: AUD $25, one-time. It gives you 72 hours of access, starting when Stripe confirms your payment, and up to 5 successfully generated reports.
• A report that fails because of a system error doesn't count towards your 5.
• Unused reports and time don't carry over after the 72 hours end.
• Reports are for your personal, non-commercial use.
• Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including refunds where a service has a major problem, are not excluded by these terms. Contact us if something goes wrong.

2a. Provider benchmark reports

• Providers can create an organisation, add the homes they operate (including homes trading under different names) and buy benchmark reports. Each report covers one Star Ratings release (quarter).
• Price per report: AUD $50 for organisations with up to 5 homes; AUD $250 for organisations with more than 5 homes (unlimited homes). The price is shown before payment and is based on the number of homes in the organisation when you pay.
• Adding, removing or editing homes in your organisation is free.
• Benchmark reports are kept in your account for 2 years from the date they're generated and are then deleted automatically. Download the PDF of any report you want to keep longer.
• Benchmarks are calculated from published government data. They are information only, not a government assessment, and not financial, legal or professional advice. You confirm the homes you add are operated by or associated with your organisation.

3. Information and estimates

Ratings come from Australian Government data as at the date shown. Information about rooms, prices, services and availability may come from public sources or providers, and may change or be incomplete. Cost figures are estimates only; your actual fees depend on your Services Australia means assessment, your circumstances and your agreement with a provider. AI-generated text can contain errors. Always confirm important information with the provider, My Aged Care or Services Australia.

4. Contacting providers

We only contact a provider if you ask us to and confirm what will be shared. Providers reply to you directly. We don't guarantee any provider will respond, have a vacancy or accept an application.

5. Commercial relationships

See How we make money. Advertising doesn't change ratings, rankings or Match Scores.

6. Your account

Keep access to your email account secure; sign-in links are sent there. Only provide information about another person if you have their permission or legal authority to do so. You can delete your account at any time from My account.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Aged Care Compare does not accept liability for loss arising solely from reliance on information on the site or in a report. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
